Harbourside Terrace

This project involved the transformation of a dated 1980s renovation into a refined, inner-city sanctuary across four levels. Positioned on a west-facing site, the home enjoys sweeping harbour views toward Balls Head and the Anzac Bridge, which form a stunning backdrop to the primary living spaces and bedrooms on each floor.

At the heart of the renovation is a sleek glass and steel-framed elevator, paired with a redesigned staircase that introduces natural light and ventilation to the centre of the home. Additional floor area was achieved by reconfiguring an existing light well—expanding the living zones and creating space for a new ensuite in the main bedroom.

The material palette is deliberately restrained, with muted tones punctuated by black fixtures, fittings, door frames, and hardware. This approach ensures a seamless integration of the new elements with the character of the existing terrace.
